RM EXCLUSIVE: Bill Walsh to move to Krinkie Campaign

I have just been informed by a two sources of mine in the 6th District that former MNGOP Executive Director Bill Walsh will be going to work for the Phil Krinkie for Congress campaign, leaving his post with Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

Walsh joins the Krinkie crew the same week his former boss and former candidate Dr. Cheri Yecke endorsed Jim Knoblach for the seat. Before serving as the MNGOP's executive director, Walsh was doing communications work for Yecke during her tenure as Minnesota's Education Commissioner.

Counting that employment stint, Walsh is now one of several former Yecke staffers working on Krinkie's campaign. Chris Tiedeman (one of Yecke's top campaign advisors) , along with a Yecke part-time staffer went to Krinkie's campaign shortly after Yecke dropped out.

Rumor is that the Krinkie campaign will be sending out an e-mail this evening or tomorrow morning, showcasing its latest hire, as well as promoting the rest of its campaign team.
