MNGOP gets new Executive Director

The Republican Party of Minnesota issued a statement today, naming its new Executive Director.

Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Ron Carey today announced that Ben Golnik will serve as Executive Director.

"I am very pleased to have Ben Golnik on board as the Executive Director of our Party. Ben brings a wealth of experience and boundless energy to his new position. I know he will be a great asset as our Party's Executive Director," Carey said.

Since April 2005, Golnik has been Political Director for the Republican Party of Minnesota. Long active in state and national politics, Golnik has worked as a legislative aide to US Senator Mike Crapo, served as Executive Director for the Vermont Republican Party, and been campaign manager for Congressional candidate Brian Hamel in Maine's Second District. Golnik will prove to be a great choice as Executive Director. He's been around Party events since coming on board last fall and has built great relationships with both the activists and candidates.
