Dem Blogger: Get behind the queenmaking

A recent entry over at Yowling from the Fence Post is calling on Democrats to get behind the queenmaking, saying that Amy Klobuchar is their best chance at victory against Mark Kennedy and that Ford Bell is nuts.

Where did I endorse Amy Klobuchar? I know Flash at Centrisity -- who I quoted -- supports her, but I have yet to make my own decision. I don't know enough about either to arrive at an endorsement of one over the other.

Besides, didn't Dick Cheney make a call to Pawlenty to tell him to drop his own Senate bid in favor of Norm Coleman? Your rulers in Washington were pretty busy orchestrating their own little king-makings. What are their plans this for this election cycle?

...and no sooner than I ask that question... Isn't blogging fun?

Okay, looking again at my post, I can see where you get that impression when I wrote:

"Ford Bell or Amy Klobuchar as candidate for Senate? Mike Hatch, Becky Lourey, or Kelly Doran as candidate for governor? Just as Flash at Centrisity and MPG at Minnesota Politics have suggested, I too want a candidate who will emulate Wellstone's qualities of taking on the Republicans with a combination of insightful criticism and idealistic and thoughtful social policies that will bring people together and promote social justice."

Allow me to state, for clarity, that I am not yet endorsing a candidate. I am, however, calling on my fellow Dems and other supporters to seek strong candidates for '06 and avoid destructive infighting that saps the strength of the candidates that do make it onto the voting ticket.

But why am I explaining this here? The Republicans have their own problems.
