Vikings Sex Boat Update: 4 Players Charged

As many of you know, I have been following the Vikings’ sex boat party story since it first broke in October. Since then the Vikings have gone from a pitiful 1-3 start with Daunte Culpepper as quarterback to an 8-5 record (winning the last six games) with Brad Johnson stepping in for the injured Daunte Culpepper.

When the story initially broke, Minnesota was the butt of everyone’s jokes. I don’t know how many different variations of Minnesota Vikings, prostitute and boat costumes I saw on Halloween. Al and Alma’s has become a household name in the Twin Cities. This story also introduced Minnesotans to Anaya Angel, a high class Atlanta prostitute whose call into KQRS was very interesting.

Today, it was announced that four Vikings players were charged in the investigation.

Culpepper, Bryant McKinnie, Fred Smoot and Moe Williams were charged with indecent conduct, disorderly conduct and lewd or lascivious conduct, according to court papers. (Source: Star Tribune, Dec. 15, 2005)

However, no charges will be brought against the women in the case due to a lack of evidence.
