Judging Amy

I am as upset about rising energy prices and record high fuel profits as the next guy, but I don't get this.

If fuel costs are so high, shouldn't I be saving my money to pay my energy bills instead of giving to Ms. Klobuchar's campaign?

Dear Republican Minnesota,

We're almost there. Contribute today!

We're just about there!

Last week, we set a goal of raising $25,000 to take our "Turn Up the Heat" campaign to the airwaves. Your response has been overwhelming.

Thanks to all of you who are fed up with Washington's
do-nothing approach to high energy prices, we've raised nearly
$25,000. Because of your support, we're running our ads for an additional week, and the people of Minnesota are hearing our message.

Give Amy the critical support she needs to continue to reach out to
voters. Donate to her campaign today.

High energy prices are hurting Minnesota families. It's time to
take a stand against the multinational oil companies who are raking in record profits. Minnesota is a national leader in the production of homegrown renewable energy. Wind farms, ethanol -- we're leading the pack when it comes to the production of clean, efficient and unlimited energy. And since it's produced right here at home, it strengthens our economy and reduces our dependence on foreign nations.

We've heard all the excuses from Washington about why they're doing
nothing to lower energy prices. The time for excuses is over -- we need new leadership.

Contribute to Amy's "Turn Up the Heat" campaign today. Help
us raise $25,000 so that we can keep the pressure on Washington and stand up to the big oil companies earning record profits off our hard-earned paychecks.

Join Amy's team, and contribute to her campaign today. Help us
reach out to voters so they can hear our message for change. It's time to put people first again.

You're contributing to and voting for Amy Klobuchar because she's going to do her part to make sure that energy prices aren't this high forever. George Bush and Mark Kennedy will never do anything to reduce our dependence on oil. They don't care about ordinary Americans.
