Let's stick to the issues

I’m glad the Star Tribune and Patty Wetterling feel free to use Jacob’s disappearance for political gain.

Yet Wetterling characterizes herself as a survivor. After her son's abduction, she recalled being rebuffed when she first presented the idea of a sex offender registry to elected officials. It is now a state law. "I've built this résumé in public service my own way: one person. One meeting, one family, one law at a time."
