Trillin, where art thou?

MN Lefty Liberal, the only decent liberal blog from Minnesota is gone. The profile of Trillin, operator of Lefty Liberal and MN Left and Right, has had his profile removed.

Where did he go? Did he leave any clues to his disappearance? Did Ken Martin, Mike Hatch’s errand boy, finally catch up with Trillin?

RM pledges to get down to the bottom of this.

If you know Trillin's whereabouts, please contact me, or post a comment.

The blogger known as "Trillin" is no more...I am now and forever a
figment of your imagination, a whisper in the dark, a half-truth you will
never prove....

Has Mike Hatch had anything to do with the sudden removal of MN Lefty Liberal?

I have to wonder...
He had a reasonable blog, then claimed he was being hunted down by GOPers and so he was going to quit blogging. If his identity was discovered it could cause problems for him at work (not including loss of job, he did admit).

Then he came back within a week, though more shrill and less reasonable. He turned up the vitriol beyond logical parameters.

Then he disappears. This time not just saying he won't post, but making his blog/ID private (possibly?) thus vanishing.

My question is this: In Yahoo when someone just disappears it is because they (a) made themselves 'private' thus not viewable by the general public or (b) removed by Yahoo for TOS violations. I'm not familiar enough with Blogger to know how to delete a profile.

Perhaps enough people tracked down his ID through his comments on other blogs. I mean, it was not too hard for me to figure out within my first few days with a stat counter that he was logging onto my blog through the DFL Caucus ISP.

Next question: Knowing how petty Hatch is, and knowing how Hatch is able & willing to abuse his own office, and knowing how harsh Trillin was on it possible that Hatch threatened Blogger/Google to remove the ID & blog? Or threatened Trillin to take it down or be sued/fired?

Just positing the question.

I know Trillin fretted over being exposed because it would reflect bad on his boss. Maybe the risk was too much.

Trillin, I don't know if you got my email, but I'd love to do an interview via email.

That is wierd. I thought Trillin's posts about Hatch were dead on. That said, I look at anonymous blogs with less respect than those who will give their name out publically.

MDE seems to have become a dumping ground for Democrats to dump oppo research on other democrats.

Is Trillin going to be MRE? Who knows? Who cares?

Anonymous comments I view as nothing more than office-lady gossip...entertaining but never worth expending intellectual time with.

Anonymous blogs/sites I view in the same light as regular blogs/sites--initially with skepticism. If the information pans out more often than not I will rely on their information more often than not.

To me it is the consistency in arguement that makes the difference. If you bash the other side for some fundamental reason then you had better bash your side when the same happens. Those that can do that I trust regardless of anonymity.
