Kline: Put Reagan on the fifty

Rep. John Kline has proposed replacing Grant's picture with Reagan's picture on the fifty dollar bill.

Opposition is sure to be strong, but the man did win 49 states in 1984. If anything, the liberals in Minnesota can let us conservatives enjoy this moment before they name every public place after the late Sen. Wellstone.

Nice one. Liberals aren't stupid enough to believe that the best way of honoring a great man like Sen. Wellstone is just to name an airport after him and put his face on money, of all things. We understand that the best way to honor them is to create things like Camp Wellstone and Wellstone Action and keep their ideas and ideals alive.

Yeah, John Kline will become Miss America before he gets Reagan on the fifty. That bill is going nowhere (pardon the pun...)
